Through the healing, visual and performing arts from around the world, this festival will inspire and inform, sharing joy and wisdom. A Festival promoting Healthy, Joyful, Creative and Sustainable living, for adults and children.
This Festival is once again being held in the 'City of Music' - New Orleans - on Saturday, November 12th, in partnership with and held at Michauls Restaurant and Events Venue, St Charles Avenue, an ideal location with plenty of indoor space to hold this event rain or shine. Right on the street car route, we are hoping to have it stop right outside the venue, and you may get a complimentary massage on the way!

Inspiring a City; Creating a Community
At The Healing Arts Festival the public will not only have the chance to talk to opinion leaders, philosophers, therapists, artists, product suppliers in health, beauty, and fitness, but also to attend a wide range of fascinating and inspiring workshops and demonstrations taking place throughout the events on healing on all aspects, Art, environmental issues, philosophy and spirituality for adults and children. Our aim is to inspire the city, creating a community dedicated to sustainable, joyful,sharing, caring and creative living.
Workshops, Demonstrations and Therapies
At the Healing Art festivals the visitor can call on a variety of different therapists who all have time to talk to those interested on an individual basis. Visitors will also have the opportunity to sample a therapy to see if it actually 'feels' right for them and to see under one roof, lots of different products together with the experts who know what conditions they can help with & what would actually suit the individual.
Many people have heard of Massage, Reflexology, Herbalism, Reiki, Meditation and Yoga, but how many people have experienced the benefit of these and the vast array of complementary therapies and treatments on offer alongside natural beauty and fitness treatments and products.
Food
Visitors can try out and learn the benefits of healthy, delicious and nutricious foods and drinks. Visitors can also discover the reason and benefits for organic growing and find out where they can purchase these foods. Try your hand at some live food creations.
Music, Dance & Poetry
The festival also features on the performing artists, so there will be an opportunity to listen to inspirational music, participate and watch dance from musicians and performing artists locally and from around the world. This variety of interest and professional entertainment will attract a wide audience, making this event a place that will inspire and inform.
Children's Art, Fun &Theatre Corner
The Festival is for the children too. Check out the theatre corner where a professional Artists and Entertainers will be working with the children on all aspects of the Performing, Visual and Healing Arts.
Get a Booth!
Are you a natural healing therapist, spiritual performing or visual artist, or environmental or well being organization for adults or children?
Then this Festival is for you to promote your modality or art form. Anyone interested in a booth must be able to interact with the public in some form that gives them an experience, inspiration and education while promoting yourself or your organization. Any sessions that are not free (which we encourage) should not exceed $10 a session. We are offering 100 booths for only $150 for each booth unit for this first Festival. You will be given a 8x2.5 foot table and 8x4 foot square area, an entry into the Healing Arts International web site and be part of the HAI community, plus the opportunity to give a 20 minute workshop/ demonstration on stage. This is your opportunity to share, promote and educate what you have to offer to the City.
The Festival is FREE to the public so we expect a good attendance as we will be promoting this event using all forms of media with street car access directly to the venue!
